Good service and good food served in pleasant surroundings.
Clean and warm pub situated a short walk from Rayleigh high Street, lots of space, great selection of lager, has a beer garden, play area for children, serves food, pay and display parking. prices are slightly higher than its competitors in the high street, but it feels like a higher end pub so i don't begrudge paying it. Regular stop on my night out.
This pub was very welcoming even though it was full up to the gunnels with people either watching the footy or out celebrating the festive period. To the back of the pub there was seating areas to order food and a Christmas party was in full swing, but we were only there for the BEER!!
The staff here are so pleasant and extremely helpful. The food is of high standards. Lovely atmosphere. Parking available too.
Great pub though was absolutely rammed on Saturday night, sort of good but difficult to move. Fairly difficult to get served especially with shape of bar. New staff being trained on super busy night, yes nice to see lots of people serving but you'd think they'd train them at less busy times to be ready for the weekend. Toilets good. Nice big screen.
