Little it weird place, good music but for whatever reason did not feel so relaxed

The establishment itself is quite nice inside, plays a variety of music catering to 21+ and offers a range of delicious cocktails. The bar is a nice addition to Rayleigh and will hopefully bring a new lease of life to the town centre.Bouncers tried to deny me entry with my family & partner whilst I was home visiting from University because I was wearing "Trainers". Initially felt the bouncers were toying with me but after speaking with the owner he reassured me as to the footwear policy and explained why I was questioned about my footwear before being let in.
Good atmosphere I went with a crowd of girls all in our late 40s I thought we would feel old. But it was a very mixed age group in there which was nice. It gets very buzy at the bar when they do buy one get one free cocktails we waited over half an hour for a drink, so I would suggest when you do get served buy more drinks. I think they need more staff behind the bar to be fair. Other than that the music was good it did get quite crowded but a good time had by all.
