Went to the oakwood on sat eve for my wifes 60th birthday celebration we had the sole use of the small restaurant & bar they catered for 32 people all picking from their menu the food/service & hospitality was top rate would highly recommend
Not a bad pub. Good offers on food and drink. We went on a football night so quite loud. Quieter once the match finished. Comfortable seating and nice surroundings. Good choice of food and drink. Good place for groups, not so intimate or cosy for couples. Plenty of families in the pub.
Good quick meals but not such a good selection of real ale.
A great spot to have a few beers and watch the footy ,and while your there you can eat a few different plates of food to dry it up
Thought the fish could have been a bit bigger. Beers and all our meals very good. Nice and clean and friendly staff. Food hot and well presented . Would love to eat there again, except won't have the cod.
