Sadly, I have found this Pharmacy to be woefully inadequate since the changeover in management, the quality of service has declined, this pharmacy is unreliable and we will no longer be using the service. The main problems we have experienced have been misleading communications from staff and the provision of prescriptions being untimely.
This place changed hands several months ago and since then it has been a complete shambles organisation is poor and customer service is non existent to say the least.Today though was the final straw for me After calling the pharmacy to check the doctor had sent through a prescription for my wife I headed down to pick it up.After 5 minutes of clueless looking I was told it was not there after all and that the person who told us it was must have looked at last months.All was not lost though as they told me if I could get a doctor to sign a perscription now they could process it. This was at 6 20 and as the doctors is a 30 second walk I would have no problem .I went to the doctors and they signed the perscription instantly so off I went back to Grange where I was greeted by the staff locking up at 6 25 looking quite embarrassed.I pointed out that it was 5 mins until closing even looking at one of the guys watches and was told we go by the computers inside and they say 6 30 and shut down automatically) What a load of rubbish its one thing to shut early but then to lie to justify it is a new level of not caring about your customer.As a chemist one would imagine that you did this job with a will to help people and you have a duty of care to your community. This notion seems totally lost on the new owners.As retailers customer service is the number one tool that you have to ensure a lasting customer base and a business with longevity once again this seems completely lost on the new owners I have to say the few reviews for this shambles of a shop are 5 star but are also link to the old owners I would not imagine there will be any more
