Worth a visit.
Nice windmill to visit. just a shame could not climb and see the whole mill at the time. I do beleive its now used for wedding receptions

Windmill transformed into a museum of local history; and which is also used as a venue for weddings.It is staffed by volunteers who are very knowledgeable about the history of the windmill, and of Rayleigh. They have done a great job in restoring its' appearance, though most of the original windmill working mechanism is no longer in place.It's picturesque. However, if you are a windmill buff, you might find it a little unimpressive.Worth an hour's visit.
